Sophia Pandey, MS
Hi, I’m Sophia Pandey~
Hi, I’m Sophia Pandey. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am passionate about working with young adults and adults struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Grief and loss, and Trauma. As a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), I am actively learning new research based techniques to help my clients.
As a compassionate Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and an Asian immigrant, I bring a unique and integrative approach to mental health support. My focus is on creating a client-centered experience tailored to each individual’s needs. In therapy, I create a space for open dialogue offering thoughtful feedback, support, and validation.
What sets my approach apart is its change-oriented nature. I believe in making therapy a transformative experience, where you not only express yourself but also witness tangible changes in your life through practical strategies, exercises, and tools.
Recognizing that you are the expert in your own life, I foster a collaborative process, guiding you on your journey of healing, self-discovery, and growth. Together, we will craft a personalized support plan to help you achieve your goals.
With a background of working with diverse populations, an immigrant, person of color, and a woman who has overcome challenges in her own life, I understand the impact of intersectionality on mental well-being. A variety of frameworks are seamlessly integrated with research-based treatment tailored to fit your needs.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and being in nature.
