Nicole Edwards, MS
Hi, I’m Nicole Edwards, MS~
Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate anxiety, depression, and trauma. My background includes working as a registered behavior technician with children who have special needs, which has enriched my understanding and skills in behavior and mental health.
My Approach
I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where my clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. I tailor my therapeutic approach to each client’s unique needs, using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy. My education from Barry University has equipped me with the knowledge and tools to provide the highest quality care.
Why I Became a Therapist
My journey into therapy was inspired by my personal experience with counseling. I have witnessed firsthand how transformative therapy can be and am committed to helping others achieve similar benefits. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, working collaboratively throughout your therapeutic journey.
A Bit About Me
In my spare time, I enjoy walking, working out, cooking, and reading. I love experimenting with new recipes and making them my own. My life is filled with the joy and laughter of my friends and family.
