“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” —Anaïs Nin

Do you find it almost impossible to regulate your moods and emotions? Are you struggling with low self-confidence and poor self-image? Are you frustrated or unsatisfied within your relationships? Do you find yourself returning to the same destructive behaviors over and over again, despite knowing—intellectually—that they do not serve or support your goals or well-being? Are you haunted by memories of your childhood or other adverse/traumatic life events?

Are you actively grieving a lost loved one, a relationship that didn’t work out the way you had hoped or planned, or a phase of life that now appears to be over? Do you have important questions about your identity—such as your values, your gender, your sexual orientation, your career, or your role within your family, household, or relationship? Are you looking for a path to a life in which you can finally feel content and comfortable in your own skin?

Sometimes we recognize that we’re suffering but can’t identify the source of our pain. Other times, we can easily pinpoint our injuries but have no sense of how to heal them on our own. Through a combination of empathetic dialogue and—when appropriate—research-based interventions, therapy can help us gain self-awareness and introduce us to practical tools to manage issues that may seem insurmountable.

I’m passionate about helping my clients reconcile with troubling aspects of their pasts and make choices aligned with who they want to be in the present and future—so that they can walk through the world in harmony with their best, most empowered, and authentic selves.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I graduated with my MSW from Florida Atlantic University in 2023. Prior to joining the team at Seasons Psychotherapy, I interned and worked in the substance use treatment industry for five years. While I’ve worked with a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families over the course of my career, I spent my first three years working at a substance use treatment facility that serves the LGBTQIA+ population—a beautiful and eye-opening experience.

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with substance use and/or process addictions (such as eating disorders, sexual addiction, etc.) and have received ample training in both queer/gender-affirming and trauma-informed care. I am also IFS-, DBT-, and CBT-informed and incorporate these modalities into therapy sessions when I believe they may be beneficial. Additionally, I’m a strong believer in holistic (mind/body) wellness and am open to utilizing creative expression (art, poetry, etc.) as a therapeutic tool.

A bit about me: I’m originally from Long Island, NY, but relocated to South Florida in 2015. In my past life, I was a writer and a yoga teacher. I have two teenage stepdaughters, a black domestic shorthair cat (who’s equal parts mischievous and sweet as pie!), and a major passion for books, dance, music, and the beach!

Telling a perfect stranger about the most personal aspects of your life is not easy for many people, to say the least. Therapy can make us feel very vulnerable—especially at first. That’s why I make it a point to foster a safe, nonjudgmental, egalitarian atmosphere where my clients feel unconditionally accepted and supported. When you work with me, you’ll find that I’m very human; I will never give you the impression that I believe I’m above you—because I’m not.

Coming face-to-face with my clients’ raw, uncensored humanity—being entrusted to hold space for them, guide them as they confide in me, and collaborate with them to find or create solutions to their problems—is an honor and a sacred responsibility I will never take for granted.

Thank you for taking the leap and making the wise, courageous decision to invest in your own happiness and well-being. I look forward to working with you!
