Erica Krider, MS
Hi, I’m Erica Krider~
Do you feel invisible, unheard, and misunderstood? Does your fear or shame prevent you from confronting this pain – making life seem hopeless? You do not have to suffer in silence.
I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families who would like to achieve post-traumatic growth, challenge faulty thinking, and achieve balance in their life. I am also passionate about working with individuals suffering from suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, grief and loss. I am direct in my communication style and believe in empathically challenging clients toward self-actualization. I would love to support you on your journey towards healing.
I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the State of Florida. I am a graduate of South University in West Palm Beach, FL where I earned my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently working towards full licensure from the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. I received my training and clinical experience working in settings such as the VA West Palm Beach Medical Center, where I provided services for Veterans with suicidal ideation and a group private practice in Homestead, FL where I provided mental health services for individuals, couples, and families with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma.
As a certified trauma professional, I am passionate about providing multiculturally competent and ethical mental health services. I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, or you can find me on a yoga mat. I am also the host of the Mental Health Insight with Erica Krider podcast.
