Roselore Desir, MS

Hi, I’m Roselore Desir.

I’m a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the challenges they face. With a background in working with kids who have special needs, I bring a unique perspective to my practice. My passion lies in empowering children, adults, couples, and families to overcome anxiety, depression, and learning disabilities while fostering a positive and nurturing environment for growth and healing.

Obtaining a Masters of Science in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University has equipped me with a strong foundation in understanding the complexities of the human mind and behavior. Through my extensive training and experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique needs and struggles faced by individuals struggling to fit in with their peer group at school or work, who may feel anxiety at the prospect of having to meet new people or do new things.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where my clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns.

In addition to my expertise in anxiety, depression, and learning disabilities, I also specialize in helping individuals and families navigate life transitions, relationship issues, and self-esteem concerns. I understand that seeking therapy can be an overwhelming process, and I strive to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where my clients feel understood and empowered.

As a therapist, I value the importance of ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and therapeutic techniques. My commitment to providing comprehensive care has led me to pursue additional training in trauma-informed therapy, allowing me to effectively support clients who have experienced distressing life events.

Outside of my professional life, I find joy in spending time with my loved ones. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places, reading books, and engaging in outdoor activities. I believe in the power of connection and genuine human interaction, and I aim to bring that warmth and authenticity into each therapeutic relationship. I am currently accepting new clients and would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey towards improved well-being.
