Hi, I’m Maggie.
I am a Barry Alumni with a Master’s in Social Work. I’ve worked with children in elementary schools, families, caregivers, and the grieving. I’ve specialized in working with families whose loved ones have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and/or Dementia.
I enjoy working with caregivers as they do so much for their loved ones and don’t necessarily take the time to take care of themselves. Working together, we can find the right method of self- care for you and ways to balance caregiving responsibilities.
I also enjoy working with children as they have a creative viewpoint of the world we live in. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important ingredients for effective therapy. I was born and raised in Miami which has helped me work with a diverse population within my social work journey.
I have a 2-year-old bunny named Benito and a 8-month-old Morkie named Leo. Aside from therapy, I am a florist and therefore I love spending time in nature. Flowers have a way of expressing love without having to say any words. I am currently accepting new clients and have evening and weekend appointments available.
