Estefania Catano, MS
Hi, I’m Estefania Catano, MS~
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally worn down? Do you find yourself carrying grief, stress, or painful experiences and aren’t quite sure how to move forward? Maybe you’re feeling disconnected from yourself or others, or simply trying to make sense of everything you’ve been through. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, you don’t have to face this alone.
I believe therapy should feel like a safe and supportive place where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to heal. I’m passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and find meaning through difficult experiences. Reaching out for support can feel intimidating, but you deserve care, understanding, and space to grow at your own pace.
I am a Registered Mental Health Intern and a graduate of Nova Southeastern University. I provide individual and family therapy and specialize in working with children and families impacted by Autism and ADHD, as well as individuals navigating grief and loss, faith-related concerns, and children who have experienced trauma. Through my education and clinical experience, I have worked with children, teens, adults, and families facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, relationship stress, and life transitions. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, integrating play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and family therapy. I place strong emphasis on building trusting relationships, emotional safety, and helping clients make sense of their experiences in meaningful ways. My goal is to meet each client where they are and support them in feeling understood, empowered, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.
When I’m not in session, I enjoy traveling, volunteering, and spending time with my family. I’m a born-and-raised Floridian with Colombian roots, and I’m also a devoted cat lover who appreciates the comfort and joy my cat brings to my life.
