Hi, I’m Alicia Waldo, MS~

Hi, I’m Alicia, but you can call me Ali! Are you struggling to catch a break? Does your mind constantly wander, replaying worries, memories, or self-critical thoughts? Do you often feel overwhelmed by sadness, anxiety, guilt, or shame? Are you struggling with your relationship with food, body image, or a need for control? You don’t have to face these challenges alone—I’m here to help.

I am passionate about helping people feel seen, heard, and validated in a safe, nonjudgmental space. Together, we work to understand the roots of your struggles, develop healthy coping skills, and strengthen emotional resilience. Investing in your mental health is a powerful step toward taking back control of your life. You deserve support, healing, and the opportunity to live a life that feels meaningful and balanced—for yourself and for the people you care about.

I am a Registered Mental Health Intern and recently earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have experience working with teens and adults with various mental health disorders such as eating disorders, trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. I incorporate evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, and DBT, and I believe in collaborating with you to create a therapeutic plan that aligns with your goals. I value honesty, transparency, and building a trusting relationship so you can feel supported and comfortable as you work toward growth and healing.

A little about me: I was born in Jamaica and migrated to the US at the age of 10. Outside of therapy, I love to travel, read, spend time with family and friends, and go to the beach. One of my goals is to travel to all 50 states.

Transform your life for the better.
