Hi – I’m Jazmin
Are you having trouble sleeping through the night? Have you lost interest in the activities that once made you happy and excited? Are you unmotivated to get up and start your day? Does it feel like a dark cloud is following you around?
I’m here to help you figure out how to feel better. I believe that the relationship between a therapist and client is healing, I want to help you discover a sense of clarity and connection to what is happening within your own world. It’s my passion to provide my clients with support that is grounding, secure, and conducive to healing and positive change.
I strive to help individuals take back their life through transformation and resilience and fill it with happiness, confidence, and self-love. Taking the first step towards regaining power over your life can be hard, but the hard work is worth it. It’s my goal to help you gain insight to your emotional needs and learn the strategies needed to bring peace and happiness back into your life.
I’m a first-generation Mexican therapist. I graduated in 2021 from Florida Atlantic University where I received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling. I’ve worked in counseling settings helping individuals with disabilities overcome barriers to reintegrate into the vocational or academic space. I also have experience helping children, adolescents, and young adults in therapeutic settings who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and trauma.
We all deserve to live and enjoy our lives to its fullest potential. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental environment in which you find the strength and tools to thrive. Together, we’ll walk through trauma, abuse, loss, cultural disparities, and life struggles. I affirm my clients of their purpose, worthiness, and strength as they find their confidence and rediscover their self-worth.
Aside from therapy, I enjoy gardening and spending time with my pets. I have a small Shih-Tzu named Oso and a tuxedo cat named Batman. I also love spending time in nature and exploring new places.
I offer in-person and online counseling, easy scheduling, and a passion for serving as a transformational agent. I am accepting new clients with weekday mornings and afternoon appointment availability.
