Hi – I’m Amy!
I would love to meet with you and discuss ways to improve your overall mental health. I’m passionate about helping people with depression and anxiety. I enjoy assisting others in finding their inner strength to solve daily challenges. I believe the ‘glass half full’ mentality is a learned behavior that requires much practice.
As a mother of four children, I’m aware of the many stressors on both parents and children. I understand the difficulties of maintaining balance within the family while trying to meet the needs and expectations of others. I believe it is important for this balance to be maintained in order for us to continue to achieve personal growth and satisfaction in life.
I graduated from the Phyllis and Harvey Sandler School of Social Work at Florida Atlantic University. I have experience working and helping children, adolescents and adults. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship builds the foundation towards wellness. I have a special affinity for working with the elderly and special-needs populations.
I’m an avid proponent of the importance of physical health along with the importance of mental health. In my free time, I stay active by attending high intensity interval training classes daily, enjoying the outdoors, or spending an occasional day at the local rock climbing facility.
