I understand the daunting task regarding anxiety and depression. I’m here to provide understanding and support throughout your therapeutic journey. Through psycho-education and observation, you will gain the coping skills needed to achieve mental fortitude. I have experience working with challenging populations such as adults, children, and families with both behavioral /developmental disabilities .

I am a divorced mother of two young adult children who have experienced graved life challenges as well. Throughout my time as a single mother, I struggled to balance work, life, and motherhood while processing divorce. Through my life experiences and challenges, I discovered myself as relatable to all populations and backgrounds. In my spare time , I enjoy exercising, listening to music, dancing, going to the beach, mall walking , and watching historical movies.

My principle technique is person centered, where I will meet you where you are. I believe each and every one of you have the insight and the ability to pull from your life experiences and gain the perspective you need to heal. I further utilize Distress Tolerance (DBT) which will help you stay emotionally grounded and centered in your thoughts, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for negative thought replacement, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) which helps you gain the motivation you need within your challenging situations.
